The Event
Le Mans Series
The scene is set for the 2007 Le Mans Series. About sixty cars (Prototypes
and GT cars) have been selected from numerous applications. The selection
process has been anything but easy for the organisation, though it has
succeeded in building a varied and competitive grid.
The eagerly anticipated arrival of Peugeot will spark interest against the
double champion Pescarolo Sport team, which will fights to continue its run
of success. All teams, of all sizes will also play an important part in a
first class show. A sixth race at Interlagos, Brazil, in November, is the
first for the Le Mans Series outside Europe and is testament to the growing
strength of the series.

1000km of Spa ® 2008
This year, the 1000km of Spa are the fourth round of the very prestigious “Le
Mans Series”.
The main manufacturers embark on technological and industrial challenges of the
first rank.
Audi and Peugeot for example have large-scale projects.
Indeed, Peugeot presented on the 14th of June 2006, the 908, a V12 HDI FAP of
5,5 liters cubic capacity !
This car will take part, in addition to “Les 24 Heures du Mans”, in the 5
meetings registered in the program “Le Mans Series” of which “The 1000km of Spa
®”.
Once again, the sport prototypes, these racing cars of 2 m x 5 m, 600 CV and 900
Kg will make vibrate the most beautiful circuit in the world on 17, 18 &

Launched in 2005 and used exclusively in the World Series

for a career in F1. Its 425bhp engine and sophisticated aerodynamics deliver

As a logical progression from Formula Renault 2.0 and F3, Formula Renault 3.5 is
designed for the most promising young talents in world motorsport who have their
sights set on furthering their career in GP2, Champ Car or F1.
The car enables drivers to become familiar with features that are normally
exclusive to F1: steering-wheel mounted gearshift, left-foot braking, carbon
brakes and a strong emphasis on aerodynamics.
